Winnipeg, MB – March 15, 2024 – Winnipeg Sports Talk, established in March 2021 following the closure of the city’s only dedicated sports radio station, celebrates monumental achievements following its recent coverage of the NHL trade deadline.

On the occasion of their third anniversary, Winnipeg Sports Talk hosted its most successful live stream yet with a peak audience of over 1,350 live viewers during the six-hour coverage. With a total of over 13,000 views, the event marked a significant milestone in the platform’s growth.

In addition to this milestone, Winnipeg Sports Talk has surpassed 3 million views on YouTube and 3 million podcast downloads, solidifying its position as the go-to destination for sports enthusiasts in Winnipeg.

The platform’s success is further underscored by its record-breaking performance in January, where it achieved its highest-ever YouTube views at 176,500 and accumulated an impressive 50,500 hours of watch time. Notably, Winnipeg Sports Talk’s YouTube channel has seen continued growth, with 11,213 subscribers to date.

“We are incredibly proud of the milestones we’ve reached and the support we’ve received from our audience,” said Andrew “Hustler” Paterson, co-founder of Winnipeg Sports Talk. “Our goal has always been to provide engaging and insightful sports coverage, and these achievements are a testament to the dedication of our team and the loyalty of our viewers.”

Michael Remis, co-founder of Winnipeg Sports Talk, added, “As we celebrate these milestones, we remain committed to delivering high-quality content that resonates with our audience. With a key demographic of 55% viewers aged 25-54, we are excited about the future and look forward to continuing to serve the sports community in Winnipeg and beyond.”
